Pregnancy & Substance Use:
A Harm Reduction Toolkit
created in collaboration with
South African Network of People Who Use Drugs
This toolkit is a resource for South African healthcare professionals engaging with pregnant people who use drugs. We care about the health and wellbeing of every pregnant person, every parent, and every family affected by substance use disorders. Collectively, we hope to dismantle the stigma and discrimination around substance use in pregnancy.

The South African Network of People Who Use Drugs (SANPUD) would like to give a special thanks to the Elton John AIDS Foundation for sponsoring the development of this toolkit in South Africa.
"The birth of a child starts the world anew."
